Arrangement for: TTBB and Organ or Piano

Written for a conductor who has just taken over an MVC in Yorkshire, this is an 'old style' hymn type piece for male voices. The tune appears in many hymnals and the words, reflecting the traumatic events in Spaffords life, are as apt now as they were when written over 100 years ago. This arrangement is not difficult but an effective piece with built-in dynamic contrasts and a supportive keyboard part. Accompaniment designed for organ but with minor adjustments playable on piano.
