Arrangement for: TTBB and Piano

Occasionally we come across a text we really like and this is one of them! This beautiful poem (words below) by Sara Teasdale captures a serene and solitary moment of contemplation in a winter landscape. This would make a great addition to the Male Voice Choir repertoire (and would also be suitable for the Christmas season).

"I stood beside a hill
Smooth with new-laid snow,
A single star looked out
From the cold evening glow.

There was no other creature
That saw what I could see—
I stood and watched the evening star
As long as it watched me."
