WHAT PEOPLE SAY
'Just wanted to let you know that my son has just got into the National Youth Orchestra as a composer. He owes you one! The composition lessons he had with Tim gave him a great basis for his creative approach to composing and you all gave him so much encouragement and support over the years. One of the pieces he started with Tim and developed at JRNCM was in the portfolio he submitted to NYO. So thank you all once again!'

Creating New Music
Tim's first love has always been composing and he enjoys nothing more than to get his teeth into a new work borne from a simple idea, photo, thought, memory or wish to bring it to life and feel the anticipation and the joy that presenting a new piece of music to a commissioner brings. Tim has written music for all manner of occasions, celebrations and events for choirs, orchestras, instrumentalists, musicians and non-musicians alike and had pieces performed all around the world ... indeed, the vast majority of the works in his catalogue are the result of commissions.
Giving the gift of music, or receiving it for yourself, is very a special and personalised gift but where do you start? The answer is very simple: just 'Contact Tim' and arrange to have a coffee and a chat! He is a mine of useful information and will talk through your ideas, stories and requests and offer suggestions and guidance to shape and illustrate your thoughts and translate them into music. He keeps his rates surprisingly low because he believes that new music should be available to all.
Find our more information about commissioning music and pricing in the 'Helpful Guide' or 'Contact Tim' to book a coffee and get the ball rolling!
