We'd love you to have a free piece on us .... why? Because, we represent many composers and composers write music! It seems a silly thing to say, but that is what we do! We write music for special occasions, by special request and commission and sometimes for competitions. This brings us to our selection for our annual free download: It was written for and shortlisted in a UK 2022 competition.
But that leads us onto reminding you that you, or your group, could have a piece specifically composed for you. This is a wonderful and exciting way to be involved in the creation of new music (not forgetting that all music was new once). New music is the lifeblood that stimulates audiences and performances and a good composer will work with you to create something that perfectly matches your group's abilities and you would be surprised at how little it could cost.
All the pieces in the pictures above have been composed by Tim as a result of commissions, many of which were discussed over a cup of coffee! Instrumental music, choral music, organ music, songs. From tiny pieces to large scale works, we believe everybody should have access to creating new music. The free piece gives you an idea of Tim's style, though you can visit our YouTube Channel to hear many more of his pieces.
