 Choral Conducting

Recognised as a dynamic and enthusiastic conductor and with a very wide knowledge of the Choral repertoire, Tim has held positions with Thornton Vocal Union, Burnley Municipal Choir, Wakefield Festival Chorus and the Grassington singers, he has also just finished a 7 and a half year tenure with the Harrogate based choir Vocalis which has included tours of Holland and Hungary.

He has held workshops for the National association of choirs, and been a guest speaker at their conference, and also run Choir revival and fun singing days for many Northern choirs including Durham Choral society, Lea valley singers and Stokesley Choral society
He has also held Choir survival workshops around the country for choirs that have needed help with the Concert planning, Recruitment, funding and Audience building and is acknowledged as a specialist in this field, his choir survival books and courses being the standard work on the subject, Choirs in Birmingham, Bradford, Kendal, Kent , Scotland have all benefitted from workshops and these are available to all choirs, ( details can be sent on request and the website www.tim-knight.20m.com has fuller details
